This project is an exciting experiment of dismantling the constraints of linear narrative with the use of color, texture, typography and materiality. Structured as a “journal” of free-diving in Symi, it frees itself from the expectations of a cohesive progression and utilizes the liquid qualities of aquatic life to present a meditation on memory, reflection, digital and physical accumulation and time.

In this book object, the significance of every choice around printing, designing and presenting the story is particularly visible. The selection of the 2-color-palette (metallic gold and medium blue) feels an integral part of the storytelling.
